Document pool issues with photos and measurements
Photos and measurements can help homeowners create a clear record of pool concerns.

Document Pool Issues Before They Become Harder to Explain

Document pool issues as soon as you notice them. Photos, videos, measurements, emails, and written notes can help show what happened, when it started, and how serious the concern may be.

One of the most important lessons from my experience with Triangle Swimming Pools LLC is that homeowners should keep organized records. A pool is a major investment, and clear documentation can make a big difference if questions or disputes come up later.

In my situation, I am dealing with unresolved pool concerns. I contacted Triangle Swimming Pools LLC and requested a review. As of this post, I have not received a meaningful response to my latest written request.

What I Am Documenting

I am saving emails, photos, measurements, and notes related to the pool. This creates a timeline and helps explain the condition more clearly.

For example, photos can show visible concerns. Measurements can show size, distance, depth, or location. Emails can show when the issue was reported and what response was requested.

  • Take wide photos of the full pool area.
  • Take close-up photos of each visible concern.
  • Use a measuring tape when it is safe.
  • Save the original image files with timestamps.
  • Keep copies of emails, contracts, invoices, and warranty documents.
  • Create a simple timeline of events.

Why Photos and Measurements Matter

Photos help tell the story visually. Measurements make the record more specific. Together, they can help a homeowner explain the issue to a builder, manufacturer, inspector, consumer agency, or another pool professional.

However, safety comes first. If measuring inside or around the pool is risky, homeowners should wait and ask a qualified professional to inspect the area.

My Request to Triangle Swimming Pools LLC

I believe Triangle Swimming Pools LLC should review the concerns I reported and provide a written position. If they believe the issue is unrelated to their work, they can explain that. If they believe another party should be involved, they can explain that too.

Until then, I will continue to document pool issues carefully and preserve my records.

Final Advice for Pool Owners
