How to Handle a Pool Builder Breach of Contract: My Personal Experience

When it comes to building a pool, most of us expect professionalism, adherence to contracts, and timely completion of work. Unfortunately, this isn’t always the case. Recently, I found myself facing a challenging situation with my pool builder – Triangle Swimming Pools LLC, which I want to share to help others navigate similar problems.

The Situation: Breach of Contract

The issue began when my pool builder failed to provide the necessary building permit for the pool as required by our contract. This was a fundamental part of the agreement, as the permit ensures compliance with local laws and regulations.

Adding to the frustration, they decided to stop the work entirely and issue a refund for the water feature – again, a component explicitly stated in the contract. While issuing a refund might seem like a reasonable action on the surface, this approach left the project incomplete and me with more questions than answers.
